But we didn’t just jump on the band wagon as many other salons do when promises of the latest and greatest appear. We did some in-depth research and we are very excited to give everyone our verdict – YES to Olaplex. So let us explain what Olapex is and why everyone is so excited about this new hair treatment.

Olaplex multiplies bonds making hair stronger, healthier, while hair color lasts longer with more vibrancy. Whenever you do chemical treatments or thermal treatments on your hair, your hair breaks its hydrogen and sulphide bonds. Olaplex reconnects the Sulphide bonds leaving your hair softer, shinier, easier to manage with less frizz for weeks. Using Olaplex is like adding an extended insurance plan to your service at the hair salon.

Olaplex is free of silicones, oils, aldehydes, parabens, and glutens. Two brilliant scientists, Dr. Hawker and Dr. Eric Pressly, are the brains behind Olaplex. It has been tested on Hollywood celebrities like Jennifer Lopez along with every single A-List Celebrity Stylist including Tracy Cunningham and Guy Tang – just to name a few.

Olaplex is used in 3 steps:

1. Bond Multiplier is added directly to the color and/or highlights

2. Bond perfector is applied after the color is rinsed and left on for 10 minutes. Then it is rinsed off and followed by shampoo and conditioning of the hair

3. Hair perfector is your home care insurance to be used before you shampoo and condition your hair. Please remember Olaplex is not a replacement for your regular conditioner. Our hair professionals will go over all the information for home care following the treatment.
